ESC logo font

May 06, 2011 at 07:01

See the symbol at the end of my image. I know that this is the symbol for esc and that it is referred to as a BROKEN CIRCLE WITH NORTHWEST ARROW (U+238B) but i dont know what font its from. I can see it on my MAC but on WINDOWs it turns into a square. Can you please help me to find the font to download.

From Wiki:
On computer keyboards, the Esc key is a key labeled Esc or Escape that is used to generate the ASCII Escape character (Control-[, ASCII code 27 in decimal), the character code traditionally used to initiate an escape sequence
The key is indicated as a circle with an arrow through it (U+238B) as defined in ISO 9995.

As for that symbol, try to investigate what font is used in Mac.
