Is there any way to put a font into Open Office?

no, install it on windows, it will work on open office

Fonts are not to be 'put into' any application as such. Install your font by copying it to C:Windows/fonts if you have a PC. Macs will be slightly different, but after installation, a font will be visible and available in all applications. (Beware! OpenOffice will use OpenType fonts, but its PDF maker will not accept them. Use Truetypes if you want to make PDFs in OpenOffice)

I have no problem with the Opentype.

clauseserieux, I have been unable for years to get Opentypes to translate into PDFS from OO documents. Would love to know if you have any insights on this. (I'm now using Libre Office, with no Help files)

JohnHancockCP & Champignon are the opentype.
