Hello to all that read and reply, i was wondering if anyone knows of any totally free fonts that can be used for profit in tee-shirts designs. currently im in th process of creating a clothing line and would like to use a couple of theses
Look for public domain fonts. Do not just rely on what is shown on the web page where you downloaded the font but look inside the zip archive and see if there is a text file that states that the font is a public domain font. Sometimes you will find this info in the font. However, when in doubt, get in touch with the designer to clear up matters.
For example, here are the two listings of fonts by Character here at Dafont:
http://www.dafont.com/character55.d2739 and
http://www.dafont.com/character.d855 All his fonts, Character said, are public domain and he does not expect nor ask for any remuneration for their use. He just had fun doing the fonts and, sadly, he already passed away.
At the top of the lists, clic at "more options" then check only the "Public domain" option.
In the list will only appear the public domain fonts.
So do your choice.
thanks Menhir and toto@k22, i'll give it look and check it out. thanks aagain
