Name badge

Sep 30, 2018 at 00:45

I am trying to find a font that will help me create a unique name badge image. I have looked at 100(0)s and have had no luck. The font needs to be easily read, preferring a blockish style with serif (and maybe an italic). The name will be Mixed Case. But the thing to make it unique is the first letter (a capital) would have a curving, horizontal leg, like an exagerated leg on an R, that goes to the right, slightly underlining the next (lower case) letter with an upward curve. Cursive will not qualify. Does anyone know of font that has right extending legs on many, if not all, of the caps?

It would be helpful to know the word/s you want to display, but have you looked at Cinzel? It has standard and decorative forms (an /R that extends beneath the next letter, for example), and is 100% to use, though a donation to the author in recognition of the considerable work involved would, I'm sure, be much appreciated.

Thank you for the speedy reply. I will check out Cinzel. The text will be that of the person's first name. The company logo, properly fonted will appear below. I want this name font to be easily read by others. They won't stare at the company logo; it is very well recognized, buy I don't want the person to "stare" at the chest of the wearer because they can't easily read the name. Thank you.

Cinzel looks very acceptable, but not all caps have the extended leg. For example the capital C. Are there any other fonts that might have more leg showing on more letters (bad pun, but I could not resist)?
