I know my english isn't good, but just wondering: Which part of "using alternates" didn't you understand?...

You need an OpenType-savvy application such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, ...) or Quark XPress or CorelDraw to access the OpenType typographic features:
