The real font used is not well known. But jackster3000 over at deviantArt created Pretendo as a mimic font. If you goto this site you can test and download it.

I use Nintender.

Nu Hanafudaya includes an 'enclosure function' that adds the familiar rounded rectangle border of the original Nintendo logo to your text if your software supports OpenType.

I think that is Pretendo !
